Night Light Winter Shelter, Basingstoke

Night Light Winter Shelter (NLWS) is a Christian run organisation in Basingstoke, Hampshire, which provides those sleeping rough with warm meals and a bed for the night during the coldest months of the year. See below for more information and how you can get involved.

What we do

Sleeping rough is never easy, but is on the rise. NLWS aims to support those who find themselves in this situation by offering a welcoming and safe environment, a warm bed, a hot meal, and an escape from the bite of winter's coldest months.

How to help

Volunteer at the shelter

Our annual training for volunteers who  wish to support during our evening, overnight and morning shifts has now passed. However, we are only able to run the shelter with your kind donations, so please do take a look at our Donations page to see how you can still help.

As a charity, Night Light Winter Shelter relies on support from many sources, including kind donations from individuals as well as from local companies. These donations range from regular banana deliveries, to donated clothes and financial contributions.
